Help in AGRESSO

A comprehensive help system covers all aspects of AGRESSO. No matter which module or window you are in you always have access to help files that explain the use of that window in AGRESSO.
There are two main types of help in AGRESSO: Help for windows (which documents the window you are in) and field help (which helps you find key values for the field your cursor is positioned on).

Help for Windows

If you choose Help (F1) from the Help menu you open help for the active window. The help text gives explanations of the different menus, windows and reports in AGRESSO.
If you need help for another window in AGRESSO you choose Contents from the Help menu or click the Question mark button on the toolbar to see the full list of available help topics.

Fileld Help

Choose Field help (F9) from the Help menu if you want to enquire about valid values for the field your cursor is positioned on. This opens an enquiry window for the relevant data.

The first column contains the code and the last column contains the status if it is in the table.

You can limit the enquiry with the search line and wildcards. You also have access to the commands Filter on the Data menu and Setup on the Tools menu as in other enquiry windows.

After you have run a search you can select a value from the results and bring that back into the window where you called the query. To this by selecting Choose on the Data menu with the cursor on the data you wish to use.
